isn’t it highly ironic, that Pearl Jam (THE BAND.. that was SUPPOSED TO BE, the “HARDEST” Rock Band of the 90’s) is afraid to have… A REAL, HARD ROCK DRUMMER. Pathetic, really. NO BALLS.

Benny had one of the most soulful passionate voices ever and should have been a major star. I totally believe his story about "Into the Night" and what he did for those kids by not just handing them money but giving them small jobs with responsibility gave them self respect, and a purpose and hope and was very honorable. The big studio produced video was not of his doing and he had little if any control of the content and was made to sell records. This is one of my all time favorite songs and love belting it out when I hear it. RIP Benny, hope you're singing loud in Heaven...you are missed by many here on earth.

Dave is an amazing drummer...one of the greatest ever and diffinatly the best PJ drummer ever, but he diffinatly doesn't sound like he is on the same level of intelligent or depth as the other members of PJ. Maybe it just as simple as Dave not being on the same page as the rest of the band. It's a shame, but it is what it is...

They could have put two songs from the lost dogs that were cut from the first two albums instead. The follow up for any band's debut that breaks out like theirs did is always tough. VS nailed it. Even Rolling Stone said that VS topped their debut. Dave gave PJ a more hard rock sound which I preferred. Would PJ's sales have declined as much had they not fired Dave for liking their recording facility for VS and for buying a gun or other personality conflicts? We'll never know.
